About the CBR150R
Honda's small full-fairing sportbike. A liquid-cooled DOHC engine, a six-speed gearbox, inverted forks and wavy discs at both ends, with ABS on some trims and not others. Clip-on bars, a 12-litre tank and 137kg.

The most committed riding position in this index. The 782mm seat is manageable and the engine is friendly, but the clip-on bars put your weight on your wrists, which is fine on an open road and wearing in slow traffic. Rent it because you want a sportbike, not because you want transport.
On Bali roads
Happiest on the open stretches: the Bukit, or the run east toward Amed. The fairing sits low and there is only 160mm of ground clearance, so speed humps, kerbs and unmade hotel driveways all need care.
Worth knowing. Requires a manual-motorcycle entitlement and an IDP. There is no usable under-seat storage, a scuffed fairing is expensive, and Honda sells this model both with and without ABS, so ask which one you are being handed.
