About the CRF 250
Honda's larger trail bike, the one with the rally fairing and the tall screen. It sits higher in the seat than the CRF 150 most shops rent and weighs a good deal more, so it is a bigger machine in every sense. A shop that has one almost always writes 250 in the listing, because it cost them several times what a scooter did.

It is built for rough roads and long days rather than adapted to them: long travel suspension, a big front wheel and proper ground clearance.
On Bali roads
At home on broken back roads, forest tracks and the long climbs inland. Less pleasant in beach town traffic, where its height and weight are all cost and no benefit.
Worth knowing. Requires an appropriate motorcycle licence and an IDP. The seat is high enough that shorter riders should sit on one before booking, and very few shops here publish a rate for one at all. Several shops list only “CRF”, which is the 150, so ask which one before you book.
