About the Meteor 350
Royal Enfield's cruiser: a long-stroke 350 single in a low, relaxed chassis with forward-set feet and a low seat. Built for a steady pace rather than for speed, and the engine pulls from very low revs.
Who it suits
- Cruising
- Long coast roads
- Riders who want the character
The low seat makes it far less intimidating to sit on than its weight suggests, and the engine never needs to be worked. It rewards a rider who is happy at 60 to 70km/h with nowhere in particular to be.
On Bali roads
Suits the long open roads of the east and north coasts, and the run out to Amed in particular. Heavy and awkward in Canggu or Ubud traffic, where forward-set pegs are the last thing you want.
Worth knowing. Requires a full motorcycle entitlement and an IDP. It is one of the heaviest machines in this index, and a cruiser's low stance does not enjoy Bali's speed humps or a steep hotel driveway.

What a scooter actually costs in Bali
Published prices from every rental shop we can find, shown as the shop’s own total and as a comparable rate per day.
None of the 2 shops here say which version they rent. Ask before you pay.
Almost every shop delivers. Expect the scooter brought to your villa, hotel or the airport and collected again, usually free within the shop’s own area and for a small fee beyond it. Confirm the pickup point when you message them.

Rate for 1 month is what you pay per day once the shop’s own discount tiers are applied, and not the daily rate multiplied out.
Shops that publish no 1 month price, and no shorter rate we could work from, are shown as quote on request. For those we show nothing at all rather than invent a figure.
