About the LX 125
The entry Vespa: the same steel monocoque and single-sided front suspension as the rest of the range, in its simplest trim. Vespa has sold the LX in more than one engine size and shops here rarely say which they hold, so ask if it matters to you.

The cheapest way into a real Vespa, and around Seminyak or Sanur it does everything the pricier ones do. The steel body feels solid underneath you in a way a plastic scooter does not.
On Bali roads
At home on short coastal and town runs. The small wheels and the firm ride make broken inland tarmac hard work, and it is not a bike for crossing the island.
Worth knowing. The same caveats as any Vespa here: a higher daily rate than an equivalent Japanese scooter, a higher deposit, and parts that are slow to source. Confirm what happens if it breaks down before you take it.
