About the WR155
Yamaha's enduro single, with 41mm telescopic forks, a monoshock, wave discs at both ends and 21-inch front / 18-inch rear wheels. At 134kg it is light, and the liquid-cooled VVA engine makes 12.3kW.

The bike for riders who intend to leave the tarmac properly rather than photograph a track. The suspension travel and the 245mm of ground clearance are what let it cross the rutted ground around Batur and in the west that would beach a scooter.
On Bali roads
Made for the inland trails and the black-sand tracks on the north coast. Buzzy and uncomfortable on a long tarmac transit, and its height makes town riding a chore.
Worth knowing. The 880mm seat is genuinely tall and many riders will not get a foot flat down. Needs a manual-motorcycle entitlement and an IDP, and very few shops in this index rent one.
