About the CBR250RR
Honda's sharpest small sportbike. A 250cc parallel twin that makes its power right at the top, wrapped in a full fairing with clip-on bars and an inverted front end. The riding position is committed rather than comfortable.
Who it suits
- Experienced riders
- Photos
- Empty coast roads
Take it if the bike is the point of the day rather than transport. It is quick, loud and completely unsuited to a supermarket run.
On Bali roads
Excellent on the quiet roads early, tiring in Canggu traffic. The fairing holds heat at walking pace and the bars put weight on your wrists in queues.
Worth knowing. Needs a manual-motorcycle entitlement and an IDP. Deposits on sportbikes here are large, and fairing panels are expensive to replace.

What a scooter actually costs in Bali
Published prices from every rental shop we can find, shown as the shop’s own total and as a comparable rate per day.
3 of 9 shops say which version they rent. The other 6 do not, so ask them.
Almost every shop delivers. Expect the scooter brought to your villa, hotel or the airport and collected again, usually free within the shop’s own area and for a small fee beyond it. 2 of the 9 shops here publish the areas they cover; the rest simply never wrote it down. Confirm the pickup point when you message them.

Rate for 1 month is what you pay per day once the shop’s own discount tiers are applied, and not the daily rate multiplied out.
Shops that publish no 1 month price, and no shorter rate we could work from, are shown as quote on request. For those we show nothing at all rather than invent a figure.
Greyed prices with a ≈ are our estimate, not the shop's. Those shops publish no 1 month rate, so we worked one out from the longest rate they do publish, using the discount that 855 shops in our data actually give for a longer stay. We round that discount the cautious way, so the real price is usually lower than the figure shown. Ask the shop for their own number before you book.
