About the Aerox
The Aerox 155 Connected: sharper and lower than an NMAX, and the sportiest thing in this class that most shops will hand a tourist.
Still worth renting
Still a good rental and usually a cheaper one. The riding position is more committed than the NMAX's and the seat is less generous two-up, so it suits a solo rider who wants something quick through traffic rather than a couple with luggage. If the price gap to an ALPHA is small, take the newer one for the extra comfort; if it is not, this is no hardship.
New, this generation listed at IDR 1.320.000 less than the current one: 4% cheaper to buy, which is why shops can rent it for less. Indonesian on-the-road prices for a new bike, not rental rates. Shops here rarely say which generation they are handing you, so ask.

For riders who want NMAX performance in something sharper and lighter. It changes direction more willingly than the NMAX and looks the part, at the cost of a firmer ride and less pillion comfort.
On Bali roads
Good fun on the Bukit's twisting roads and quick enough for the bypass. Less pleasant than an NMAX on a long day two-up.
Worth knowing. The 790mm seat and sporty stance suit taller riders; pillion accommodation is an afterthought.
