About the XMAX 250

The XMAX 250 Connected: a proper maxi-scooter, the biggest and most expensive thing in this index, and a different category of machine from everything above. TECH MAX adds the electronic suspension adjustment and the fancier finish.

Who it suits

  • Two-up over long distances
  • Experienced riders

The choice for covering the island properly, two-up, with luggage. It is stable at speed in a way nothing smaller here is, and the 13-litre tank makes a full-day loop a non-event.

On Bali roads

Superb on the long runs to Amed, Lovina or West Bali. Poorly suited to central Ubud or the Canggu lanes, where its size is a liability.

Worth knowing. At 184kg it is heavy if you drop it, needs a full motorcycle licence and IDP, and commands the highest daily rates in this index.
